Q: Do you shoot inside or outdoors?
A: All of my sessions take place outdoors except newborn and some lifestyle sessions.
Q: Where exactly are you located at?
A: My husband and I recently moved from Chicago to Aiken, South Carolina. I am 2 hours east of Atlanta and 2 hours west of Myrtle Beach.
Q: What equipment do you shoot with?
A: Canon 60D, 17-40L 2.8, and 50mm 1.4. I also love my Lensbaby muse for my art work.
Q: Are you available for weddings?
A: Yes, but i book very limited weddings and 2nd shoot for other photographers.
Q: What is the best time frame to do a newborn session?
A: I prefer your little one to be within 6-9 days, i find its the easiest to work with the younger they are.
Q: Do you have a degree in photography?
A: I am self taught but I have taken several online courses.
Q: Are you available for travel?
A: YESSSSSSSSSSSS! =)
Q: Am I able to print images from the cd that I receive from my session? Am I violating any copyright laws?
A: Yes you are! I include a print release with every cd so you can print them at the lab of your choice. Keep in mind, if you do not print them at a professional lab, the coloring and quality will not be as good as it is on your disc.
Q: How do I choose a theme or what to wear for my session? HELP!!!
A: Don’t fret! A personal consultation is included with every session. I help you choose the location, what to wear, and any additional things to make your session rock! I also many many pinterest boards to help inspire your outfits!
Q: Do you offer mentoring?
A: I have done a few mentoring sessions and hosted a workshop last fall. I have my degree in education, and I enjoy sharing what I know with other photographers.
Q: What is your favorite type of sessions?
A: I LOVE fashion and newborn sessions the very most! =)
Q: What inspires you?
A: Sunsets, lace, antique shops, teacups, and of course, PINTEREST.
